Selamat Hari Raya

Eid is around the corner and this year is especially special. It will be our first Raya with our son Ayden!

We've already went Raya shopping and bought Ayden his first baju Raya, complete with sampan and songkok! The songkok was a little too big for him, infact it falls right off his head! So my mum found a ketayap and a market and they have a size for babies! It fit perfectly on his head. For his daddy we found a baju melayu colour that matches Aydens. For his mommy, I chose to wear an opposite colour. The boys are wearing peach, so I chose an olive green baju kurung to complement them.

First day Raya will be spent at Nilai at my parents' home.

So to all muslims celebrating, Selamat Hari Raya. Please drive safe. Better late than sorry. For those who are planning to balik kampong on the eve of Raya .. good luck with the traffic jam!
