Appraisal time

It went smoothly and painlessly. It went OK considering that I was ill on MC for 2 months last year and being new in this industry. What can I expect .... more? Not just yet.

My boss commented on my soft issues. One of them was, I am too soft!! (??) Me soft? Hmmm Not harsh enough? In my previous dept, I get discriminated from one of the bosses when I was on the phone on a private call and screaming on the person the other side because he was not complying to my requirements. Here .... I am expected to be more harsh and .... BITCHY!! Yep... my boss told me to be more BITCHY!! Its a totally different culture .... I like!.....

Woooo hooaaaa .... best lah ini macam... semua orang I bole taram. And nobody will condemn.

Its not my nature... I am a pushover. Tak bole bawak negotiation punye ... fail sial.

My boss said, "Notice that the MD likes people who are short tempered. They are aggressive. They get promoted fast". I remember a colleague of mine telling that he was shouting on the phone at one of those time sharing marketing people, telling them to piss off and did not realise that the MD was standing right next to him grinning! (Our MD is very small and quiet. You won't realise it when he is standing right behind you!)

So, with the new financial year ... resolution would be ... BE MORE BITCHY ... at work lah .. at work je ...

NOTE: Ok lah... since ada criticism ... biar aku tambah sikit .... Bitchy to strong sikit kuttt... those are my word actually. Saja nak sensationaliseeeee....

Lets put better words in .... AGGRESSIVE ..... sounds better?

Also to note: To be more BITCHY / AGGRESSIVE ... not to colleagues sesame sendiri tau .... to suppliers and clients.

Message was, to be more aggressive to outside parties ... don't let people take advantage of your position (position in the market tau.... bukan position in the office)
