Its lunch time and I've got a few minutes to write.
We just spent our first weekend at our new home ... or rather I did cos hubby was away camping with some expedition organised by the company. SOmething about visiting a orang asli settlement and fixing their school. He was as excited as a school boy! He came home in one piece and no pacat incidents. He did manage to mandi sungai and sleep in a tent .. I tell you, its something ambitious for people our age. I used to go camping a lot when I was in school, I don't imagine to be doing it now. If there is no hot water... NO WAY!
Anyways, back to the house. I had to sort out the house by myself over the weekend. Arrange the furniture and put the carpets in place. Put away all the other little things. The only thing left are the books. We need to find bookshelves to put them in. Other than that, we are sorted. My most favourite part of the house... the kitchen! Its really kewl. With everything unpacked and put in place, the house still looks rather bare. We need to get some pictures to put on the wall and maybe some stuff to decorate the place a little. Some nice rugs would be good too.
Work has been CRAZY! Am pressured to take off a deal and its driving my nuts. People whom I have to deal with are in other parts of the world and I am at the mercy of their time difference. There is this cool website that tells you all the different times in the world and you can personalise it to the countries that you want. But nevertheless, in getting things done, we actually called this guy in Greece and it was 6am there! He was nice enough to answer our questions though.
Fingers crossed, I hope this deal goes through..
