I had a good break

Last Monday to Wednesday I was on leave. A long break. And its my first holiday this year ... can you believe that! Kelip mata, dah mid year already. Without realising it, I still had 21 days leave from 25! The ones utilised were taken when I was busy with our new house and renovations. I felt burnt our, tired and could not be bothered. So, I thought I better take a break.. and I did.

The reason for taking this break was also to spend some time with my new car! I thought if I did not take the time off, I would not really have time to take it for a good polishing and servicing. Itu pun Hubby yang took Froggie ( the car's name!!) for polishing cos I had my company's gold tournament on Sunday.

So with Froggie all fresh and clean, we took her to genting. We started off late Tuesday evening cos Hubby had to work. Despite it being late, it did not stop us from taking the top down at the Mc Ds at the bottom of Genting. It was FANTASTIC! The air was cool, there were not many cars on the road, we had a good CD going in the player, and the Froggie corners ever so smoothly on the slopes. The drive up to Awana felt so short. But fun. We felt like starting all over again, going down the slopes and up again!

Although it was only Genting, we had a good time.

We had a great breakfast in the morning .....

While Hubby went to hit some balls at the driving range .....




Then we drove up to the First World Plaza, jalan jalan .....



Went to the Ripleys Museum ....



They had all sorts of things there ...

Rides ...



And the decor was pretty kewl ...

They had lotsa arcade games too, but no pictures, we were too engrossed with the racing games!

So after a long day of walking, we headed for home. It was evening by then and the sky looked pretty grey. We could not resist but took the top down again, and headed down hill. Again, the drive was fantastic. This time, we could see the scenary around us cause it was still bright. The air felt great in our faces. Though the fumes of the vehicle was quite unbearable! We overtook lorries and taxies as fast as we could!Though our break was short, and we could only go to Genting, we felt well rested and rejuvenated. Hope the next trip will be slightly further! We target Penang. I hear that the shopping at the Feringgi night market is great. Might do a weekend trip up there... tapi kena tunggu gaji masuk dulu :P
