This weekend is the MME Race (Merdeka Millenium Endurance Race). It is a 12 hour non stop race. They rotate between 3 drivers so they get a break to eat, pee.... whatever else.
So as usual hubby will be working the whole weekend. It starts at noon on Saturday and will go on for 12 hours. Why on earth would anyone whirl around the same track for 12 hours is beyond me. Wouldn't be more fun to drive from Johor to Kelantan and back a couple of times??!!
Last year I actually went to see what the fuss was all about. My company had a team. Drivers were staff of the company itself. So to add to the fuss they had a VIP room at the Paddock where non of the invited turned up. So in the last minute, family members were called to come and eat the catered food. I went with D and her boyfriend. I'm not sure if she enjoyed it.... (Best ke D? Boring kan? Except for the free durian la hehe) Yep, they had free flow durian. Relevence??? Donch know. D and I go to a lot of these things together. F1, MME..... remember you fell asleep on my lap during F1 D!! hahaha.... certainly a fond moment to remember.
So anyway, I don't believe I will be going again this year. I'll enjoy the weekend by myself, perhaps go to the spa again! Hehe

Our team pulak (self-sponsored) is trying it out this year....lookout for Skywriting Motorsports...relevance to F1...macam team RedBull laaa...nothing to shout about! Team members were F1 marshall car drivers....suka2 ajer...

ya lah, lin, the peak of the event was definitely the free durians..
i dunno how the drivers can stand driving for 12 hours, i cant even stand watching for less than 6 hrs.. but bf loves them so have to give support meh..
this year didnt go, bf not here BUT HE CMG BACK ON THE MONTH!! YEA!
