2005 was fantastic. It was a good year for me. Compared to the previous year, 2005 is just blissful.
I recovered completely from my damaged spine. Life is back to normal, i.e I can do pretty much anything now with completely no pain. I am more full of life now because I’ve been going to the gym lots. Believe me it makes a difference. I feel more energetic and happy. I am so grateful for what I can do now.
So recollecting 2005:
We finally moved into our new home this year. After the chaos of finding a tenant for my place in Ampang, getting the renovations sorted out, pontenging from work just to see if the workers are doing their job right, to be there when there are deliveries.
I had my first bilateral deal going! It was painstaking taking it off but nevertheless we had something going. It did not make much money for us but the point was that we could do it.
I finally bought my mx-5! I’ve been longing to get one for years and years and years. But times were never right, or I could never find the right one. Froggie to me is old, but perfect.
I got to go to Cape Town! For free! Its got to be the most free and easy business trip I’ve ever had. But it is one of the places that I would like to visit but could never afford. It is dreadfully expensive there!
We got a big bonus this year! It does help recover a little from the amount we spent on the house.
We got to go for a holiday! At long last we get to go away. We went to Gold Coast, Australia. It was a fantastic holiday. The best that I’ve ever had.
On other little things. My work is doing ok. We are not doing great or anything but I’ve got a great boss (for once!!) and great colleagues. Hence no stress. Everyday I get to go home happy and content. No worries, no stress, no anxiety. My previous job, which I left about 2 years ago, was HELL!
We finally get to start trying for a baby. We finally get to start our family.
Finally I am beginning to enjoy life. I am beginning to let go and take things as it comes. Fortunately things are good this year.
I hope 2006 will be as good.
