Back from Looooong holiday

I am back to work from a long holiday. Did not get much time to blog yet though. It was fantastic, it was relaxing, it was HOT and I wish it did not end.
So what did I do? In order of events.

There was Chinese New Year. This year the eve dinner was held at Nelayan Seafood. Popo did not cook, as she usually would. The food at Nelayan was not too bad, but nothing beats popo’s cooking though. We had this soup called “The Monk Jumped Over the Fence”. I thought it was the weirdest name ever for a soup! We had that instead of Sharks Fin Soup, though I think Sharks Fin tastes nicer. Apparently the story about the name of the soup was something like; the smell of the soup was so good, that the meditating monk jumped over the fence for it. Gosh, he must have been disappointed!
Chinese New Years day was not very eventful.We went over to Popo’s house and had lunch. That was it. And then went home for a nap. It was SO hot.
Few days after that I had a hen nite for one of my friends who will be getting married soon. Its been SO long since I’ve been out. Jakun sekejap. We went to Cynna. It was not quite happening there. But managed to finished one bottle before we moved onto The Loft. It was happening there man! Would definitely go back there again.

Then there was my nephew’s wedding. It was so hot. I could not believe I was outdoors that day for that.

We went fishing with some friends on Thursday. Again, the sun was scorching. I was terribly tanned after that. We did not manage to catch anything though. But I got to take lots of cool pictures.
On Saturday morning we went to play golf. Just 9 holes. The heat was unbearable. We could not get up early so we ended up teeing off at about 10am! Gosh…..
Saturday afternoon we went to my nephews reception at a masjid at UPM. Again, the heat was unbearable. I was visibly miserable that they. Could barely manage a smile for anybody. The bride and groom looked as cool as ice. I wonder how they managed that in all those clothes.
So that was my holidays. In between there was lots of naps, sleeping late, computer games and reading. Best!!
