BMW Sauber F1 Drivers autograph signing

Building up to F1 weekend, I’ve been accompanying hubby during his late night stays in the office. Offering to chip in with the preparations, I helped with sorting out our corporate tickets.

Today, there was an autograph signing thingy at the concourse level of KLCC. They do this every year. This year, we have Sheila Majid performing before the signing. She belted out 5 songs, which includes, Sinaran, Jelingan Manja and others I don’t know what they are called. One is from her new album though. I’m really bad at song titles. Oh, and we had Paula Malai Ali as the MC.

The signing went well. Only this time, the drivers signing table was not on the stage. So we could not see them after all the media people surrounded them, trying to get a good shot. So hubby… next time, make sure they are ON THE STAGE…. So everyone can see them.

I thought the response for the autograph signing was good. The queue was SO LONG!!

I was just there to watch Sheila sing :D

It's strange you know. Two years ago during an event with our principal, we had Jac Victor - nobody paid attention, they just Yam Seng away although her voice was vibrating the glasses.
Last year, we had Sheila Majid, everyone ceased whatever they were doing and really sang along.
Orang Malaysia memang sentimental.

Sheila is definitely more captivating! I guess its she is a more experienced entertainer. Her interaction with the audience is better and more appealing. Plus, most of us are familiar with her songs too.
