Mogok at KLCC

We received a security warning today on our intranet saying that there will be a gathering at KLCC and there will be policeman sealing off the perimeters around KLCC. We were told not to participate or have anything to do with it. Wahhh..sounds serious nih.

So after lunch, we all waited in anticipation at the windows trying to get a glimpse of the demonstration. There were FRU people all with red helmets waiting all around KLCC. Semangat. But there were no demonstrators! The FRUs were standing there all by themselves.

Then we saw it. Alahai….. it was just a big bunch of people walking, carrying huge banners that I can’t make out what it says. Even that, it was not even around KLCC. It was on Jalan Ampang. They were making their way towards the direction of Reinaissance Hotel.

Dam… we were disappointed. We were looking forward to some action. Angry mobs, dapat balik awak ke….. I still don’t know what they were protesting though. I something its something about NST or something like that.
