Kenko Fish Spa - Pavillion

Kenko Fish Spa - Pavillion, originally uploaded by Selinz.

Finally I went to that famous Fish Spa place at the Pavillion. It was a spur of the moment thing. Unplanned.

I went with my aunt, where she treated me to a half hour treatment. It was a great experience! I must say that I really enjoyed it, despite it being a bit weird at first.

After we've paid for our half hour treatment, they ushered us to a place where we had to wash our feet. After that, we made our way to the . It was daunting at first, but after a while, I got used to it. After I carefully and slowly dipped my feet into the pool, the fish swam towards my feet and started nibbling! I looked over to my aunt's feet and she had more fish nibbling on hers than mine! Could be because I just had a pedicure done not long ago hehe... therefore not much dead skin.

Half an hour felt like quite along time. When it was time to get out, a girl with a clipboard (obviously monitoring everyone's time) came to remind us that our half hour was up.

All in all it was a very pleasant experience. I wouldn't mind going for it again. My feet feels cleaner now :)

Hi Selinz,

Hi ... I do read your blog but very quickly so normally no time to comment. However, this time around, I must comment because i tried the fish spa also when I was in KL earlier this year. It is cool and I have actually done it twice. The second time around - the fish were no longer interested in chomping (I mean nibbling on my feet). Do you know that they are planning to have a full body version somewhere in Sunway?

Wow full body version?! That must be scary. We don't want them nibbling at the wrong "bits"! hehe..
