It had a very gorgeous bed which overlooks the view outside. We could just catch a glimpse of the oceon, but otherwise, we could see mostly the resorts garden.
A very lovely living room area.
A bathroom where we can look into the bedroom as well as the view outside.
Of course whats special about this hotel is its outdoor tub, where it also overlooks the ocean! An absolutely blissful experience, soaking in the warm water, with sea breeze in our faces, a glass of coke (yes only coke! :P) in our hands.
The resort also had a spa. But we skipped it, as it is exorbitantly expensive!
Being in the Rasa Wing, which is meant to be an exlusive wing, breakfast is ala carte, where we order from a menu, but there were other items on buffet as well, such as the pastries, fruits, juices, baked beans, sauteed mushrooms (my favourite!), beef bacon (hubby's favourite) and we can order as much as we want! Pancakes, a BIG favourite of mine, was also on the menu but I was too stuffed from the eggs benedict with salmon I ordered, where I also piled it with baked beans and sauteed mushrooms.
My breakfast Work In Progress hehe. I'd say, this beats La Bodega's breakfast hands down! They even have decaf coffee :) Every table in this restaurant overlooks the view of the gardens in the resort.
For our anniversary dinner, we walked across the road to one of the many restaurants on Feringgi Beach called Eclectic. It was a pleasant small restaurant with modern deco but Balinese garden. It had a great candle light atmosphere with jazz crooning in the background by a young unknown artist. After that we took a stroll to the famous Feringgi Night market where hubby borong the DVDs. Surprisingly I did not buy anything other than DVDs. The handbags were tempting but I was already drowsy from the long day, so I did not get any!
As it was only a one night stay, we only managed to do a little of everything. We managed to chill by the pool, take a dip in the jacuzzi with my book, chill by the beach. What we did not get to do, chill longer by the pool and beach, ride on the ATV and go para sailing, soak longer in the outdoor tub in our room and have the Hainanese popiah at Lone Pine Hotel, which is just next door to our hotel.
It was quite a splurge but I thought it was well worth it. We will definitely be back next time!
