Just as we were recovering from our missing flight which disappeared the day before my birthday, another one got shot down last night. This really goes down in aviation history. Never has there been an airline or country that has lost two commercial flights within 6 months. A friend's husband was on the first flight and he was also my husband's childhood friend. Gone too soon. He really was the nicest person I have meet and unimaginable talents in interior design and gardening. Imagine if he did that for a living instead.
My heartfelt condolences to the crew and passengers of this flight. May their family members have strength to pull through this trying times.
